International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IAIO)

Gold Medal🥇in 2026 (Team Ukraine), 24 participating countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and China. First girl globally to win a gold medal across the first three fully individual International AI Olympiads (IAIO 2024, IOAI 2025, IAIO 2026)

From 23 to 27 February 2026, IRCAI invited 95 talented upper-secondary school students and their teams from 24 countries to Ljubljana, Slovenia, to compete in an artificial intelligence Olympiad. The event brings together winners of national AI competitions and their teams from 24 countries. IAIO 2026 is dedicated to fostering a new generation of AI specialists who, in addition to advanced technical expertise, adopt an ethical, human-centred, and socially responsible approach to artificial intelligence. This is the second edition of the IAIO to be held in Ljubljana, following the successful inaugural Olympiad, which took place in autumn 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2025, Bolivia)

Honourable Mention for medal-level performance (top 50% globally) on one contest day. First girl on Team Great Britain at IOI in 15 years. 84 participating countries

IOI is an annual competitive programming contest for high school students that brings together some of the most talented young computer scientists from around the world. IOI is one of the most prestigious olympiads for young programmers. Participants from over 90 countries compete in two five-hour contests, solving challenging algorithmic problems that require deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and computational thinking. Each country selects its team through national olympiads or dedicated selection processes

European Girls Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI)

Silver Medals 🥈🥈 in 2025 (Team Great Britain) and 2024 (Team Ukraine). 60 and 56 participating countries, respectively

EGOI is an international competition for young women interested in computer science. It follows a format similar to the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) and is hosted annually by a different country. The first edition took place in Switzerland in June 2021. The goal of EGOI is to encourage more girls to participate in informatics olympiads, addressing the significant gender imbalance seen at the IOI. Although the Olympiad is European in name, many non-European countries are eager to send teams to take part in the on-site events held across Europe.

Western-European Olympiad in Informatics (WEOI)

Silver Medal🥈in 2025 (Team Great Britain), 10 countries

WEOI is an international subcontinental informatics olympiad for K-12 students. Its goal is to add an additional educational value in algorithms and programming to Western-European students. Participants are selected by the country’s national olympiad. Each contestant will represent its country individually

UK Mathematical Olympiad for Girls (MOG)

Perfect score (50/50) in 2025; top 2% (44/50) in 2024

The Mathematical Olympiad MOG is aimed at girls and young women across the UK and consists of five challenging problems. In 2025, a total of 1,479 girls participated in MOG.

UK Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (UKAIO)

Gold medal 🥇in 2025

Organized by Cambridge Dream, IAIO UK is part of the International AI Olympiad (IAIO), uniting the UK’s brightest young minds to take on both theoretical and practical AI challenges. IAIO UK 2026 will select the national team to showcase the UK’s AI talent on the global stage at the finals, taking place from February 23–27, 2026, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

British Informatics Olympiad (BIO) Final

2026: Joint 1st place, perfect score; all problems solved in 2.5 out of 5 hours — the fastest result among 6 contestants with perfect scores. 1st absolute place among girls. 2025: 1st absolute place among girls, fourth place overall

The British Informatics Olympiad (BIO) is an annual competition in computer programming for secondary schools and sixth form colleges. Any student who is under 19, in full time pre-university education and resident in mainland Britain, is eligible to take part and may win prizes including an expenses-paid trip to the prestigious International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). The first stage of the BIO is a three-hour exam, taken at school, in which students solve problems with the aid of a computer. These are marked by a teacher and submitted for moderation. Based on the results of this exam, the top 15 competitors are invited to the BIO final in Cambridge during the Easter holidays. The best four make up the team to represent Britain at the IOI. The 6–8 top finalists are selected for the WEOI team, and the top-performing girls are selected for the EGOI team.

European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (EJOI)

Silver Medal 🥈 in 2024, Bronze Medal 🥉 in 2022 (Team Ukraine). 26 participating countries

From August 16 to 22, 2024, the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics was held in Chișinău, Moldova, in which 98 participants from 26 countries took part. The Ukrainian national team received two gold medals and two silver medals. In the medal standings, our team became the best together with the Romanian team. This is the best performance of our national team at this Olympiad.

Ukrainian National Olympiad in Informatics (UOI)

Gold Medals🥇🥇🥇in 2025, 2024 and 2023

The Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics is an annual competition in Informatics held by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Olympics consists of four stages: - I stage (school); - II stage (district/city); - III stage (regional); - IV stage (national). In each subsequent stage, the best participants of the previous stage are invited. The best participants of the final stage of the Olympiad are invited to the Selection Camp for the International Olympiad in Informatics

Ukrainian Junior (UJOI) and Girls (UGOI) Olympiads in Informatics

UJOI - Gold Medals🥇🥇in 2024 and 2023 UGOI - Gold Medal🥇in 2024 and Silver Medal🥈in 2023

Since 2021, the Ukrainian Junior Olympiad in Informatics and the Ukrainian Girls' Olympiad in Informatics have been held every year. These two Olympiads are held simultaneously on the same set of tasks. The best participants are invited to the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics and the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics. All schoolchildren of Ukraine (both boys and girls) who were under 15 years old on December 31 of the current academic year can take part in the Junior Olympiad. All girls studying at school can take part in the Girls' Olympiad. Each year there are three selection rounds, which are conducted online with proctoring. In each round, the best 10 participants in each nomination enter the final stage. Also, the best 8 participants of the Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics, who fall under the limitations of the Olympiad, will enter the final stage. The final stage of the Olympiad takes place face-to-face and consists of two rounds. The best participants receive diplomas, and the winner receives a cup. The best 12 participants in each nomination go to the Selection Camp, which determines the teams for the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics and the European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics.

Junior Balkan Olympiad in Informatics (JBOI)

Silver medal 🥈in 2023, 13 countries

The Youth Balkan Olympiad in Informatics (JBOI) is an annual Olympiad in Informatics for the countries of the Balkan Peninsula: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.
